Energy
Renewable energy is abundant, clean, domestic, peaceful, practical, safe and secure.

If lavish public subsidies for hazardous fossil fuels and lethal nuclear power didn't exist, it's unlikely anyone would use such "conventional" sources.

Renewables today are available in many cost-effective forms: solar-thermal, photovoltaics, wind, micro-hydro, geothermal, biogas, biodiesel and cellulosic ethanol.

Today's biofuel technology can supply all the present and future demand for liquid and gaseous fuels at minimal total costs.

Prosperous industrial nations such as Denmark and Germany now produce over a third of their electricity from renewables -- mostly with locally manufactured equipment.

Americans can produce all our energy from low-cost renewables in a free and fair market-based economy.  But we must abolish the corporate-state subsidies and private monopolies that have been destroying our economy during the last century.
